The current population of Khar is now around 443 peoples which consist of 74 household. As population increased, the capacity of existing main Khar Masjid became short for prayers. Specially, on Eid festivals, Islamic events, people performed prayers outside of the Masjid. To cater the increasing number of prayers, FTK has decided to expand/Re-construct the main Masjid. Accordingly, a high power Committee has constituted for construction of Masjid: Masjid Committee consist of following 6 members:

FTK Islamabad Branch invited Chairman Masjid Committee Mr. Muhammad Ashraf for a dinner on March 3, 2023 at Alipur. He brief FTK Islamabad about construction plan of Masjid and requested to coordinate and donate for construction. President Islamabad Brach Mr. Ashraf Hussain welcome the Chairman Masjid Committee and assured his best cooperation on behalf of Islamabad Branch.

FTK members have started fund collection from Lahore Bank Stop masjid and Madina Colony Masjid.

آج عید العضحی کی پرمسرت موقع پر نیز مسجد اویس قرنی کھر کی پہلی پورشن کی افتتاح کے موقع پر فلاحی تنظیم سرمو کھر کے زیر انتظام ایک خیراتی ادارہ “دھرتی رنگ” کی تعاون سے اجتماعی قربانی کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔ آج پہلی دفعہ کھر سرموں میں اجتماعی قربانی ہویی۔ اجتماعی قربانی نماز کی ادائیگی کے بعد مسجد اویس قرنی کے پہلے پورشن میں درود و سلام اور مدح و سرایی کے ساتھ منعقد ہویی۔ دھرتی رنگ کے تعاون سے پچھلے دنوں اہلیان کھر کو بہتریین انداز میں کھانا بھی دیا تھا اس کے علاوہ اس ادارہ کی تعاون سے بہت سے طالبات مختلف شعبوں میں ہنر سیکھ رہی ہیں۔ دھرتی رنگ اہلیان کھر کے خواتین خصوصا غریب گھرانوں کی خدمات کا عزم رکھتے ہیں۔ دھرتی رنگ کے ساتھ رابطہ اور ان کو کھر سے دلچسپی پیدا کرنے میں صدر ایف ٹی کے ہیڈ آٖفس جناب غلام حسین کی مرہون منت، کوشش اور جدوجہد سے ہویی ہے۔
